Ingredients
- 3 green onions (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp ginger (minced)
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 12 oz wontons
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Chili oil (homemade)
Instructions
- Make the chili oil by combining red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, minced garlic, ginger, sugar, and salt in a heat-safe bowl. Heat neutral oil until hot and pour over the mixture. Stir and set aside.
- In a large pot, melt coconut oil over medium heat. Add the white parts of green onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add wontons along with soy sauce and simmer until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with dark green onion tops and drizzled with chili oil.
