Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Coat thoroughly and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Remove chicken from marinade and let excess drip off. Toss with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes until crispy and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- Serve hot garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
