- 1 egg

- 1 cup chopped apple pieces
- 1/2 cup toasted pecan pieces
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toast the pecans in a small pan until fragrant (about 5-7 minutes) and set aside.
- Peel, core, and chop the apples into small chunks.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon with the butter mixture until just mixed.
- Gently fold in the chopped apples and toasted pecans.
- Pour the batter into an 8×8-inch greased or parchment-lined baking dish and bake for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for about 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
