  • ½ cup applesauce (preferably cinnamon flavored)

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon (for topping)
  • ¼ cup sugar (for topping)
  • ¼ cup melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, apple cider, applesauce, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Mix in cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla until well incorporated.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool for 20 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar for the topping.
  7. Brush cooled cake with melted butter and coat with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
