- 5 medium apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 8 flour tortillas (for chips)
Instructions
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, combine chopped apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water. Cook for 10-15 minutes until apples are tender.
- Mix cornstarch with two tablespoons of cold water until smooth; add to the skillet. Stir continuously until thickened.
- For tortilla chips, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray tortillas lightly with cooking spray, mix sugar with cinnamon, sprinkle over tortillas, cut into triangles, and bake for about 10 minutes until crisp.
- Serve warm Apple Pie Dip alongside cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips for dipping.
