  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, combine chicken broth and minced garlic, bringing it to a simmer.
  2. Gradually whisk in quick-cook grits and stir continuously until thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in smoked Gouda and sharp cheddar until melted. Mix in butter until fully incorporated.
  4. Add Half & Half, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper; stir well.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 30-45 minutes until set and slightly golden on top.
