Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mash bananas and mix with softened butter and sugar until combined. Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Once cooled, spread frosting evenly over the cake before serving.
