Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Mix in ground cardamom, then gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and flatten slightly on the baking sheet.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Cool on a rack.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, orange juice, and milk until smooth; drizzle over cooled cookies and optionally sprinkle with orange zest.
