- 1 lb cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the beef with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour for 1 minute, then gradually add milk while whisking until smooth.
- Stir in provolone cheese until melted; season to taste.
- Combine beef and vegetables with the tortellini and pour the sauce over everything. Gently stir to combine.
