  • 24 Hershey kisses (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the maraschino cherry juice and almond extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour and mix until fully incorporated, then fold in the chopped cherries.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to form balls of dough, roll them in sugar, and place them on the prepared baking tray.
  6. Chill the cookie dough balls in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes before baking.
