- 1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets, thawed)
- 100g dark chocolate (chopped or in chip form)
- 100g almond paste
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into four equal triangles.
- In a small bowl, mix chopped dark chocolate and almond paste until well combined.
- Place about one tablespoon of filling onto the wide end of each triangle and roll towards the point.
- Arrange croissants on a parchment-lined baking sheet, whisk together egg and milk for an egg wash, and brush it over the tops.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
