Ingredients
- 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies or brownie crumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese or Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup sugar or natural sweetener
- 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Prepare the base by mixing crushed cookies and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan and refrigerate.
- Make the mousse by whipping heavy cream until soft peaks form. Blend cream cheese (or yogurt), sugar, and melted dark chocolate until smooth, then fold in whipped cream. Spread over the chilled base and refrigerate.
- For the glaze, whisk orange juice, honey (or maple syrup), and cornstarch in a saucepan until thickened over medium heat. Cool slightly before pouring over the mousse layer.
- Chill for an hour before removing from the pan and garnish with orange slices or zest.
