- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar for the cinnamon swirl
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon for the cinnamon swirl
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
- In a mixing bowl, cream unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the creamed butter mixture, alternating with sour cream until well combined.
- Spoon half of the batter into the Bundt pan. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl and sprinkle over the batter layer. Top with remaining batter and gently swirl.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
