  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar for the cinnamon swirl
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon for the cinnamon swirl

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the creamed butter mixture, alternating with sour cream until well combined.
  4. Spoon half of the batter into the Bundt pan. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl and sprinkle over the batter layer. Top with remaining batter and gently swirl.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
