- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in yogurt, lemon juice, spices, and salt for at least 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté the onion until translucent. Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste and tomato puree; add heavy cream and seasonings. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Prepare the garlic sauce by mixing mayonnaise, yogurt, garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Serve the butter chicken with fries and warm naan.
