- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko mixed with feta, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then egg, then the panko mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F / 75°C).
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, hot sauce, and lemon juice to create the glaze.
- Drain cooked chicken on paper towels and drizzle with the hot honey glaze before serving.
