Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon non-alcoholic Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic; cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the beef broth and diced potatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Gradually stir in shredded cheese until melted. Mix in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Ladle into bowls and garnish with optional chopped green onions or croutons.
