  • 1 cup chopped candied red cherries
  • 1 cup chopped candied green cherries
  • 1 cup roughly chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and essences (vanilla, almond, lemon) to the butter mixture; mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped candied fruits and pecans until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
