Ingredients
- 12 large Medjool dates
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice each Medjool date lengthwise and remove the pit.
- In a bowl, mix crumbled feta and grated Parmesan until combined.
- Stuff each date with the cheese mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat; toast walnuts for about 5 minutes until golden.
- Stir in honey, thyme, salt, and pepper into the toasted walnuts.
- Place stuffed dates on a baking sheet and top with the walnut mixture.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until warm and slightly melted.
- Allow cooling slightly before serving warm.
