Ingredients
- 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 2–3 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned (5–6 minutes), draining excess fat if needed.
- Stir in beef broth along with salt and pepper; let simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Toss cooked pasta into the skillet and mix well to coat evenly. Drizzle with more olive oil if desired.
- Serve hot topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
