- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter (for searing)
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp butter (for sauce)
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Velveeta, cubed
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- 2. Sear seasoned chicken in a skillet with olive oil and butter until golden brown; remove and keep warm.
- 3. In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter and sauté garlic before adding heavy cream, milk, and cheese to create the Alfredo sauce.
- 4. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until coated, then serve with sliced chicken on the side.
