  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (gemelli or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan, for sauce
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • Fresh parsley or dried herbs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain.
  2. Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning and press Parmesan cheese into them.
  3. Sear chicken in olive oil and butter until golden brown; add minced garlic towards the end.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté remaining garlic, then add cream and broth. Stir to simmer.
  5. Whisk in cream cheese and gradually add mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with sauce to coat evenly; let simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Serve topped with chicken and garnish with parsley.
