Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and lemon juice until fully combined.
- Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Let marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated fillets on a greased baking sheet and brush with the remaining marinade. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the fish is flaky and cooked through.
- Optionally, toast sesame seeds in a skillet until golden brown for added flavor before serving.
