- 450g lean ground beef
- 30g butter
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 1 small green bell pepper, diced
- 230g brown mushrooms, minced
- 30g ketchup
- 240ml beef broth
- 225g provolone cheese, chopped or shredded
- 6 brioche chicken hamburger buns
Instructions
- Brown the beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Remove from skillet.
- Sauté vegetables: In the same skillet, melt butter and add onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms; cook until browned.
- Prepare sauce: Combine beef broth, cornstarch, ketchup, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl; stir until mixed.
- Combine: Pour sauce into skillet with vegetables; simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened. Add browned beef and mix in provolone cheese until creamy.
- Toast buns: Butter each bun and toast until golden brown.
- Serve: Fill each bun generously with the beef mixture.
