Ingredients
- 8 oz turkey strips
- 6 chicken thighs
- 2 large peaches, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- Fresh thyme and basil
- 2 tsp. sea salt, divided
- 1 tsp. fresh cracked pepper, divided
- 1 tsp. oregano, divided
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika, divided
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large shallot
- 3 cloves garlic, grated or pressed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook turkey strips for 3 minutes until dark red. Remove from heat.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sear seasoned chicken thighs for 1-2 minutes per side until browned.
- Sauté shallots for 2 minutes, then add grated garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Deglaze with chicken broth; simmer for 3 minutes while scraping browned bits.
- Stir in butter and honey until melted; return chicken thighs and thyme to the skillet.
- Cover and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Add sliced peaches on top and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until soft.
- Serve garnished with fresh basil and thyme.
