  • 8 oz turkey strips
  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 2 large peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • Fresh thyme and basil
  • 2 tsp. sea salt, divided
  • 1 tsp. fresh cracked pepper, divided
  • 1 tsp. oregano, divided
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika, divided
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large shallot
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated or pressed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook turkey strips for 3 minutes until dark red. Remove from heat.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and sear seasoned chicken thighs for 1-2 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Sauté shallots for 2 minutes, then add grated garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Deglaze with chicken broth; simmer for 3 minutes while scraping browned bits.
  6. Stir in butter and honey until melted; return chicken thighs and thyme to the skillet.
  7. Cover and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  8. Add sliced peaches on top and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until soft.
  9. Serve garnished with fresh basil and thyme.
