  5. Knead on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  6. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise until doubled (about 1–1.5 hours).
  7. Shape into a log and place in greased loaf pan; let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
