- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan and drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over it. Add the remaining batter and drizzle with the rest of the fudge sauce; swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
