  • 7 grams active dry yeast
  • 240 milliliters warm water
  • 30 milliliters olive oil
  • 13 grams sugar
  • 6 grams salt
  • 170 grams sliced turkey pepperoni
  • 170 grams sliced turkey
  • 200 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 15 milliliters water (for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water; let sit until frothy (5–10 minutes).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil; mix until cohesive.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 60–90 minutes until doubled.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle (30 x 40 cm) on a floured surface.
  6. Layer turkey pepperoni, turkey slices, mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning on the dough.
  7. Roll tightly from one long edge and seal edges.
  8. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet; let rest briefly.
  9. Brush with egg wash and make shallow slashes on top.
  10. Bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool slightly before slicing; serve with marinara sauce.
