- 1½ cups unsalted butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- Purple gel food coloring
- Black gel food coloring
- Purple sprinkles
- ½ cup black or chocolate sprinkles
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and milk; mix until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate flour, salt, vanilla extract, and almond extract until a cohesive dough forms.
- Divide dough into three portions; color one purple, leave one white, and dye the last black.
- Roll each colored dough into rectangles of equal size. Stack them with sprinkles on top before rolling into a log.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the log into cookies and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes until edges are golden.
