Ingredients
For the Blondies
2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup butter, softened

½ cup powdered sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the finely chopped apples.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the blondies cool completely in the pan.
- Prepare the Maple Glaze
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture becomes smooth and slightly bubbly.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled blondies and allow it to set before cutting into squares.
