  • 12 tbsp milk (for thinning, as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk until just combined.
