Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate (approx. 2 oz., chopped)
- 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp cane sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2–3 orange peel rinds
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium-high heat, melt the dark chocolate with almond milk, stirring frequently until smooth.
- Once melted, reduce heat to low and add cocoa powder, cane sugar, vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange peel rinds.
- Simmer on low for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.
- Remove from heat and serve topped with whipped cream or chocolate shavings as desired.
