Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, ground pistachios, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs until frothy; then mix in melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using).
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until combined—avoid overmixing.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
