Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For frosting: Beat together softened butter and brown sugar until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Spread frosting over cooled bars, cut into squares, and serve.
