Ingredients
For the Dressing
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons red apple vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/8 teaspoon granulated sugar (or cane sugar)
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
For the Salad
1 small red onion, finely diced
2 medium ripe tomatoes, diced into 1/2 inch pieces
1 English cucumber, diced into 1/2 inch pieces
4–5 fresh basil leaves, chopped
Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together the dried oregano, apple vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper until well combined.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced red onion, tomatoes, and cucumber.

Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently to coat evenly.

Add the chopped fresh basil and lightly toss again.
