Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg (or flax egg) and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and mini marshmallows if using.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
