Ingredients
- 12 oz pitted Medjool dates
- 4 oz goat cheese, room temperature
- 1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
- Zest and juice of 1 orange
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice each date lengthwise and fill with 1-2 teaspoons of goat cheese.
- In a bowl, mix walnuts, rosemary, orange zest, orange juice, cinnamon, sea salt, and olive oil until well combined.
- Place filled dates in a baking pan and top with walnut mixture.
- Bake for about 15 minutes until heated through.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving warm with a drizzle of hot honey.
