Ingredients

  • 12 oz pitted Medjool dates
  • 4 oz goat cheese, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each date lengthwise and fill with 1-2 teaspoons of goat cheese.
  3. In a bowl, mix walnuts, rosemary, orange zest, orange juice, cinnamon, sea salt, and olive oil until well combined.
  4. Place filled dates in a baking pan and top with walnut mixture.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes until heated through.
  6. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving warm with a drizzle of hot honey.
