Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar or chicken broth
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 thick slices of French or Italian bread
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spread garlic butter on each slice of bread. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper; add to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Add vinegar or broth and lemon juice to the skillet, simmering for 1-2 minutes before returning shrimp to coat in the sauce.
- Serve shrimp in bowls with toasted garlic bread on the side.
