Ingredients
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2–4 very ripe bananas
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar.
- Mash the very ripe bananas and mix them into the butter-sugar mixture.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract; stir until well combined.
- Mix in baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan evenly.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow cooling in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
