  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cups chocolate chips
  • 28 Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cubed)
  • 6 oz dark chocolate (50-70% or semi-sweet)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F (180C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  3. For the cookie layer, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy. Mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until incorporated. Gradually add flour and salt; fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Spread half of the cookie dough into the prepared pan. Layer with Oreo cookies evenly on top.
  5. For the brownie layer, melt dark chocolate and cubed butter together until smooth. Stir in granulated sugar, followed by eggs one at a time. Add flour and cocoa powder; mix just until combined.
  6. Pour brownie batter over Oreos and dollop remaining cookie dough on top.
  7. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
