Ingredients
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cups chocolate chips
- 28 Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cubed)
- 6 oz dark chocolate (50-70% or semi-sweet)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F (180C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- For the cookie layer, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy. Mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until incorporated. Gradually add flour and salt; fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the cookie dough into the prepared pan. Layer with Oreo cookies evenly on top.
- For the brownie layer, melt dark chocolate and cubed butter together until smooth. Stir in granulated sugar, followed by eggs one at a time. Add flour and cocoa powder; mix just until combined.
- Pour brownie batter over Oreos and dollop remaining cookie dough on top.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
