- 1 lb ripe strawberries
- 4 cups cold water
- Juice from 2 limes
- 1 cup hot water
- 3/4 cup sugar (adjustable)
Instructions
- Prepare simple syrup by heating 1 cup of water and stirring in the sugar until fully dissolved. Adjust sugar to taste.
- Wash and chop strawberries into smaller pieces.
- In a blender, combine chopped strawberries, cold water, lime juice, and the prepared simple syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine strainer to remove any pulp or seeds.
- Chill the strained agua fresca in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before serving.
