Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries: Wash, dry, and chop the strawberries. Sprinkle them with sugar and allow them to macerate for 10 minutes.
- Make the Vanilla Cream Filling: Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream gently and chill for 15 minutes.
- Assemble the Croissants: Slice each croissant horizontally to create pockets. Fill with macerated strawberries, then pipe or spoon in the chilled vanilla cream filling. Dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving.
