- 2 lbs fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 2/3 cup old-fashioned oats
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350˚F.
- In a large bowl, combine diced strawberries with cornstarch.
- Add sugar and orange juice; stir gently to mix.
- Transfer strawberry mixture to a baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla.
- Pour melted butter over dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping over the strawberry mixture evenly.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream.
