- 3 cups strawberry pie filling (about 1½ (21-ounce cans))
- 8 ounces whipped topping (thawed)
- 2 cups strawberries (sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven as per the white cake mix instructions. Prepare your mixing bowl.
- Combine cake mix ingredients as directed on the package and pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
- Use a thin wooden spoon handle to poke holes one inch apart across the cooled cake surface.
- Spread strawberry pie filling over the cake, pressing it into the holes with a rubber spatula.
- Top with thawed whipped topping evenly and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
- Before serving, arrange sliced strawberries on top.
