Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 20 oz package of cheese tortellini, cooked according to package directions
Instructions
- Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning in a bowl until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the seasoned chicken for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown; remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, then pour in heavy cream and simmer. Stir in softened cream cheese and shredded cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked tortellini to the sauce along with smoked paprika and black pepper; gently toss to coat. Fold in the cooked chicken.
- Simmer together for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
