  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 20 oz package of cheese tortellini, cooked according to package directions

Instructions

  1. Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning in a bowl until evenly coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the seasoned chicken for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, then pour in heavy cream and simmer. Stir in softened cream cheese and shredded cheeses until melted and smooth.
  4. Add cooked tortellini to the sauce along with smoked paprika and black pepper; gently toss to coat. Fold in the cooked chicken.
  5. Simmer together for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
