For the Fritters:
2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 large eggs
1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Dusting:
Powdered sugar, for serving

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the diced apples until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for about 3 minutes.
  • Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with parchment paper designed for air fryers.
  • Scoop portions of batter into the basket, leaving space between each fritter.
  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through if needed, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the fritters and let cool slightly.
  • Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
