Ingredients
- 1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 4 large eggs
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp strawberry extract
- Red food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth using an electric mixer.
- In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, brown sugar, and cinnamon until creamy.
- Pour half of the cake batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top and add the remaining batter. Swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, strawberry extract, and food coloring for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake before slicing.
