- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup butter (for frosting)
- 3–4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract (for frosting)
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat together granulated sugar, sour cream, softened butter, and eggs until creamy. Mix in mashed bananas and vanilla until well combined.
- Sift in flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix gently until just combined and fold in chopped walnuts.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- For the frosting, melt butter in a pan over medium heat until it turns golden brown. Combine with powdered sugar and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
- Frost the cooled brownies before serving.
