  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for filling)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar (preferably dark)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 2/3 cup granulated sugar, and 1/2 tsp salt. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Press two-thirds of the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  4. In another bowl, mix chopped peaches with 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp salt; pour over the crust.
  5. Top with reserved crumb mixture and drizzle with 6 tbsp heavy cream; sprinkle 1/4 cup packed brown sugar on top.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes until golden brown; cool completely before slicing.
