Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups cold unsalted butter, diced
- 5 cups peeled, pitted, and chopped peaches
- 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for filling)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar (preferably dark)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 2/3 cup granulated sugar, and 1/2 tsp salt. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Press two-thirds of the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In another bowl, mix chopped peaches with 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp salt; pour over the crust.
- Top with reserved crumb mixture and drizzle with 6 tbsp heavy cream; sprinkle 1/4 cup packed brown sugar on top.
- Bake for about 60 minutes until golden brown; cool completely before slicing.
