- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Corn or flour tortillas
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
- Diced onion (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by whisking lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, spices, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Marinate the flank steak in the mixture for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the steak for about 5 minutes per side until it reaches an internal temperature of around 135°F for medium-rare.
- Allow the steak to rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
- Assemble your tacos by warming tortillas and topping them with sliced carne asada, cilantro, and onions. Serve with lime wedges.
