  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (125g)
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (50g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add mashed banana, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  4. Fold in dark chocolate chips and walnuts gently.
  5. Scoop mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  7. Allow cooling on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
